New characters and voice cast for “Inside Out 2” have been unveiled.

2″ delves back into Riley’s mind as she navigates her new life as a teenager. Unexpectedly, headquarters undergoes a sudden demolition to make way for new Emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust are taken aback when Anxiety arrives, accompanied by other new Emotions.

Here’s a rundown of the new Emotions and their voice actors:

  • Maya Hawke voices Anxiety, a jittery addition to headquarters who ensures Riley is prepared for any potential negative outcome.
  • Ayo Edebiri lends her voice to Envy, a small but determined Emotion perpetually jealous of others’ possessions.
  • Adèle Exarchopoulos voices Ennui, an Emotion characterized by teenage apathy and boredom.
  • Paul Walter Hauser voices Embarrassment, a bashful Emotion with a bright blush-pink complexion.

Additionally, the voice cast includes Kensington Tallman as Riley Andersen, Lilimar as Valentina “Val” Ortiz, Diane Lane, and Kyle MacLachlan returning as Riley’s parents, Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green and Grace Lu as Riley’s friends, and Yvette Nicole Brown as Coach Roberts.

Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, with a score by Andrea Datzman, “Inside Out 2” is set to hit theaters on June 14, 2024.
