Makar Sankranti at CGBUGS School was not just a traditional celebration — it was a beautiful blend of culture and creativity. This year, the festival was celebrated uniquely and innovatively, which truly reflected the creative spirit of our students.
Instead of regular festive activities, students were encouraged to express their ideas through art and animation. Every student enthusiastically participated in creating a short paper stop-motion animated film. The classrooms were filled with colorful papers, creative sketches, tiny cut-outs, and imaginative story ideas.
From designing characters to arranging scenes frame by frame, students experienced the real process of animation. They carefully moved their paper elements step by step, capturing each frame with patience and a sense of excitement. Through this activity, they learned the importance of teamwork, storytelling, timing, and creativity.
The most beautiful part of the celebration was seeing every student involved with great interest and dedication. Each short film reflected its unique imagination and festive spirit. Some created stories based on kites flying high in the sky, while others showed the cultural importance of Makar Sankranti through creative visuals.
The celebration not only made the festival special but also helped students enhance their practical skills in stop-motion animation. It was a perfect example of how learning and celebration can go hand in hand at CGBUGS School.
At CGBUGS, festivals are not just celebrated — they are transformed into creative learning experiences.
