On 17th March 2025, Monday, a special celebration took place at CG Bugs to mark the Jayanti of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharajj. All the students came early in the morning, excited to take part in the celebration. Being such an important day, preparations began as soon as the students arrived.
Everyone joined together to decorate the campus for Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. The place was filled with saffron-colored decorations, flowers, and a feeling of pride. The students worked together with a lot of energy and respect to make everything look beautiful.
A main part of the celebration was placing the idol of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The idol was placed with great care, and students offered flower garlands to show their respect. The area around the idol was nicely decorated, making it a peaceful and proud moment for everyone.
After that, all students and teachers came together to do Shivaji Maharaj’s aarti. The lamp was moved in circles in front of the idol, and everyone sang the aarti with devotion. The sound of “Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji” filled the air, and it was a proud and emotional moment for all.
As part of the celebration, different student groups at CG Bugs created wonderful and creative projects that showed their love and respect for Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. These projects were filled with historical themes, creativity, and meaningful messages.
To further honor the legacy of the great warrior, CG Bugs students also organized a Traditional Theme Poster Making Competition. Many students took part with great enthusiasm, showcasing their creativity and respect for Shivaji Maharaj through colorful and meaningful artwork. The competition saw some outstanding entries, and the top three winners were Vinayak Varpe (1st place), Eshwari Madhane (2nd place), and Soham (3rd place). It was a proud and creative moment that added more beauty to the celebration.
This celebration reminded everyone about the great qualities of Shivaji Maharaj—bravery, leadership, unity, and love for the country. It was not just about decorations, but also about remembering his powerful message and inspiration.
